Review: Gudetama Cafe at Suntec City

Our first group gathering took place on the second week of January. We met up 2 weeks in advance to celebrate GF's birthday at Gudetama Cafe @ Suntec City. The birthday girl will be spending her birthday in Japan while I will be going to Taiwan the coming weekend, hence the celebration is held in advance.

Gudetama Cafe was picked by GF because she is a fan of Sanrio, Gudetama is one of the characters under the family of Sanrio. This was my first time going to a Sanrio theme cafe.

We were fascinated with the surrounding of the cafe upon entering, everything in the cafe was Gudetama theme.

Gudetama is a Japanese's cartoon egg yolk that suffers from depression, a very sad little egg.
Who knows an emo character like this can win the heart of so many.

Even the furniture were beautifully decorated too. Our moods were being lifted up instantly.
The cafe's decor made us feel recharge and forget all worries.

Look who join us for the gathering?
It's baby Rena.

Gf and I ordered Eggcited Cajun Chicken with Waffle.
The food layout was so creative with the theme infused in the dish. The dish looked so photo worthy.

Both of us enjoyed the main course very much. Not only was the presentation nice and cute, the food was delectable too. The chicken was a bit spicy but not too overwhelming.

It has been a long time since I last see the girls, so nice to see them again.
See the plate with a "bo chup" note, it was Rib "I" Don't Care (Ribeye steak). Ryden and Poppy ordered this for main course.

A group photo before we left Gudetama Cafe, it was a bliss to know these brunch of clique.
It was a joyful dinner with delicious food that comes in a lavish price tag. We paid $30 each for the main course.

I have more chit chatting with the girls after the diner where we shared more about our latest happenings. Look forward to our next gathering in first week of Feb.
