Mid-Autumn at Gardens by the Bay

Right after the wedding lunch, we decided to go over to Gardens by the Bay for a stroll and admiring the mid-autumn displays, experiencing the mid-autumn atmosphere in advance since we will not be meeting on the actual day.

My OOTD.
I can't resist buying black dress, black is the colour that my wardrobe is never lack of.

Since the time was still early to see the lighting displayed, we went for an early dinner at 1983 Cafe Nanyang @ Marina Bay Sands. This place is one of the affordable price eatery that you can find in MBS. I settled for chicken rice with Thai sauce.

We reached Gardens by the Bay at about 6.50pm and began our evening stroll around the massive garden.

The water lily and lotus lanterns nestled atop a lake, adding colours and beautifying the quiet lake. Gardens by the Bay is free admission to the public, the place can get very crowded during weekend.

The dragonfly lanterns were placed above us, lighting the pathway for us as we crossed the Dragonfly Bridge.

The lake was really pretty during evening time with the lanterns lighting up the background.

This season is the time Autumn Harvest for a field of fruits, flowers and vegetables, and pumpkin. The insects were helping with the harvesting. Not sure why insects, but I am definitely not a fan of any of the insects.

The scenery ahead was breathtaking and magnificent that it made me pause to take a photo.

Gardens by the Bay come alive with lighting up of lantern displays under the magical season. The lanterns will change colour every few seconds.

The atmosphere was getting stuffy with more crowds coming in. We left the place at about 8pm once we were done with the stroll.

I shall end my post here, good night.
