OLAY All-ladies Pampering Session

Arriving at The White Rabbit @ Dempsey for an all-ladies pampering session.

Time to unwind ourselves after a long stressful week. It's weekend, time to feel good and relax.

The place has really nice ambience. It is a restaurant and bar housed situated in an awe-inspiring and beautifully-restored old chapel.

This session is proudly presented by Nuffnang and Olay.
Ever come across OLAY project 360?
It is actually a project with some celebrity bloggers together with host Xiaxue in their journey of transformation. The celebrity bloggers and their partners will then compete against one another to have the greatest transformation inside out with tips given by the OLAY different experts every week.

With my 2 girlfriends:

Jessie

Christina.

Tarts were constantly being served. Yummy! Yummy!

Free flow of drinks and finger food for us to enjoy. Not only that, there were trained therapists brought in just to give us an ultimate feel-good session.

After sitting for awhile, we decided to explore around and we found this beautiful spot for photo-taking.
The background is so nice and romantic.

Lets meet the OLAY superstars:

Check out Xia Xue and other celebrity bloggers: Valerie Lim, Qiu Ting, Daphne and etc.

This is my first time seeing Xia Xue in person with her pink hair.

Today's meet up session is also to crown the winner of from the OLAY project 360. They have picked 2 winners and one of them is none other than Valerie Lim, Miss Singapore Universe 2011.
Wow, Valerie is very tall indeed. I used to think that I'm already very tall but standing next to her, I felt a little contented (: Have not gotten the picture I took with her, Xia Xue and Qiu Ting. Will show it to you guys again.
It was indeed a relaxing night with OLAY. Look forward to the next pampering session.

Hottest Nightclub - Avalon + Shark Night 3D

On a Thursday night, we make our way down to check out the newest and hottest nightclub, Avalon, Marina Bay Sands.

Was feeling thrilled and looked forward to the night of fun.

With Joey and Andriani, a new friend made at the party.

Although we were smiling happily but we were actually sweating all over. Joey and I walked all the way from City Hall to Marina Bay Sands. Omg, it's a super long walk.

Had a group photo taken with my bunch of friends. Do you already find them familiar?

Woo, thanks William for the photo.

We have the opportunity to took photo with the hunks from 2(X)IST. Are you already envy???

With the usual - William, Jeremy, Hong Peng, Joey and your truly. Have been seeing them more and more often (:

Finally we are making our way in:

I was awe by the design.

Avalon packs a visual affair of state-of-the-art full color lasers, 3D mapping and high fashion interiors.
Avalon has the ability to morph into an elite concert venue, special events destination or clubbers paradise hosting world-class names in nightlife.

I'm in Avalon, so excited now.

Taking our drinks at the bar.

Chanced upon Jayley at Avalon too.

With Joey.

A peek of what's happening around.

I felt so disappointed, not because of the place. But because I have to leave early even before the whole thing start. I just start to feel comfortable with and I gonna leave. Aar, can't bear to leave.
Sad, gonna run for another appointment!

I headed down to GV @ Plaza Singapura for Shark Night premiere screening with a group of friends.

Who will ever thought that a weekend at a lake house in the Louisiana Gulf will turn out to be a nightmare for seven vacationers.

Synopsis

Arriving by boat at her family's Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara (Sara Paxton) and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik (Sinqua Walls) stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates. Assuming the injury was caused by a freak wake-boarding accident, the group realizes they have to get Malik to a hospital on the other side of the lake, and fast. But as they set out in a tiny speedboat, the college friends discover the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks! As they face one grisly death after another, Sara and the others struggle desperately to fend off the sharks, get help and stay alive long enough to reach the safety of dry land.

Directed by: David R. Ellis.

Genre: Mystery, 3D horror -thriller

Rating: PG13

Running time: 91 minutes

Released date: 6 October 2011

Starring: Sara Paxton, Alyssa Diaz, Dustin Milligan, Katharine McPhee, and Joel David Moore.

My rating: 2.5/5

Did not really fancy the movie.
Right from the start, the shark attack had began. As the movie was rated PG13, it did not show much about the process of killing. Instead, it showed how the victim struggled and pull into the water, leaving the sea of red blood behind.
If you are someone like me who don't really fancy horror-thriller movie. You may be interested to catch this.
But if you are someone who love horror-thriller, this is definitely not challenging enough. It does not contain much thrill compared to what I thought.
See how the 7 of them, one by one having their encounter with the sharks. And how many will survived through this crisis.
"You will never know who is the real creature behind all the attack."

Some of the attacks do not come by coincidence, it actually cause by 2 of the baddies.

Interested to find out more, remember to catch the movie on 6 October 2011.

Johnnie Walker Jet Black F1 Party

On a Saturday night, we arrived at One on the bund, The Fullerton Bay Hotel for the Johnnie Walker's exclusive Jet Black event.

Thanks to my gf for extending her invitation to me, allowing me to have such a golden opportunity to experience such a high-end and ultimate VIP race party.

As the party suggested "Jet Black", everyone of us dress in black without saying in advance.
We are about to step inside Johnnie Walker Jet Black and begin our race party.

We are given a RFID tag which is used for scanning and linking us to facebook. It will checked-in to our facebook account when we scanned our tag at the various activities booth.

There are different speciality of Johnnie Walker Black Label cocktails available: Johnnie Sour, Johnnie Walker Red Flag and Johnnie Walker Pit Stop.

And my pick is Johnnie Walker Red Flag.

Johnnie Walker Black Label mixing with fresh grapefruit, peach and lemon juice.

I preferred Red Flag to the others as I loved the sweetness in the cocktail.

Glad that we are early, gotten ourselves a table.

Camwhoring session begins ♥

Trying out the photo booth.

With Jess.

Love hanging out with her. We shared the same interest and even the same taste. We have neverending topic to chat ♥

Cheers Terence.

Lol, was like seeing him the whole day today - Forex and lunch.

With Huney at the Whisky tasting session.

Huney is so cute, she thought I was drunk as my face was so flushed.
I think I am allegric to alcohol, the minute I drink, my face started flush -_-

Time for whisky appreciation:

Step 1: Take the first outer glass, swirl it. Hold it near your nose and take it the smell.

Step 2: Take a sip of the wine, hold it at your tongue for a few seconds before swallowing down. You will be able to taste the sweet, sour, salt and bitter of the wine.

Step 3: Take another sip again and compare the difference in the taste.

Drink some plain water before trying the other glasses of wine. This is to wash away the bits of wine left at your tongue.

The first 3 glassses we tried is actually Johnnie Walker Black Label while the last glass is the Gold Label.

Don't really fancy the Gold Label as there is this spiciness in it.

Food are being served to us constantly.

Couldn't resist the food (:

Met up with Lynn again.
We had a rocking night, thanks to the DJ.

Went to check out what people were doing at outdoor.

Oh well, basically outdoor is a smoking corner so many are smoking outside.

Argh, can't stand the smell!
Better head back inside.

Caught Vernon at the party. So fast seeing him again (:

With Johnnie Walker ambassador who taught us whisky tasting. He's a nice and friendly guy. He came to find us after his next whisky tasting to catch up with us at our table (:

With Divian.

Patricia Mok was at the party too.

Left rather early at about 12am. If I do not have later on in the morning, I will seriously love to stay on and continue the party. But anyway, I have a great night spent with my friends. Hope you guys enjoy too.

SMRT Circle Line Makan Session with Esther Xie

In celebration of the Circle Line network completion, I had a 'Makan session' with Esther Xie, one of the favourite top bloggers.

Made my way down to Esplanade Xchange with a group of friends to support Esther.

With the opening of Circle Line, it connects us so much faster to many other places. We can now travel without much hassle and jam.

At our first stop: Fei Siong's Bak Chor Mee

And Eskimo. Perfect, I'm craving for some bubble tea!!!

Check out who's at our table.

While waiting for food, we played some ice-breaking games to keep us entertain. Lol, but apparently we already know each other quite well.

Woohoo, my caramel milk tea is here.

Bak Chor Mee.

I love this, the minced meat is tasty. The Bak Chor Mee is fabulous, one of the better one that I eat before.

We are too preoccupied with our food, way too delicious. Enough talk, just eat (:

Finished eating. Back to phototaking and conversation again (:

After the meal, it's time for dessert. Proceed to Red Mango for yogurt session.

Before we get started, we took a group photo. Wow, that's how big our group was.

See our hand signal?

"O" for Circle Line.

Esplanade MRT Station #B1-26

Ordered the mix Red Mango's Yogurt Muesli.

Esther got her yogurt. Wow, she looked so pretty.

With Angie. Photo-bomb in her camwhoring picture.

Group photo of our own. So happy to see them again.

With the fellow G+.

Savouring our yogurt, heavenly nice ♥
Perfect for a hot day.

Rushed back after the makan session to get ready for a night of fun. It's Johnnie Walker Jet Black Party. Are you getting excited for my Johnnie Walker post?

Stay Tuned.
